WWE Divas and Knockouts: Talk The Talk

Hiya folks, it’s me Stephanie (@StephMCK2) back with another edition of Divas and Knockouts: Talk The Talk at #THEREALWRESTLE! On a weekly basis, I will write down a variety of news and rumours relating to the WWE Divas and Knockouts Division which also includes match predictions, character analysis, Divas competing in pay-per-views and so much more!

This week: WWE

“I lost a broski to a hoeski!” On WWE Raw, WWE’s so-called “Happy Wonder Woman” Eve Torres turned to the darkside and finally became #HEEL after stating she has “used” Zack Ryder and plans to use John Cena too. However, Cena discovered her true colours on RAW and Eve has been branded “hoeski” countless times by a huge majority of the WWE Universe. WWE.com previously given us an unaired promo by Eve on Live SuperSmackDown who declared that from now on, she will not be “The Girl Next Door”, “the Damsel in Distress” and “the All-American Girl”. In fact, she’s “happy” to be… Eve Torres! It’s finally about time we had an interesting heel Diva as we heard that Eve will be getting a good push soon, which may include “Broski” Zack Ryder! Eve also commented on her Twitter, stating “@ZackRyder I miss you…” What could this mean?

WWE Officials are said to be “AGAINST” a Divas Match at WrestleMania 28! In tradition, the WWE Divas have been in the WrestleMania Match Card in which they had their WrestleMania moment, experience, wins, losses and appearances but removing them from the card is highly disgraceful. Some company officials are against utilizing the women for the sake of it since the affair would take away time from the bouts people are most interested in seeing such as The Rock vs John Cena. How sexist… These women have spent years to hone their craft and skills for their special moment at the grandest stage of them all and it will be a real shame if the WWE didn’t have a heart and went along with it. It’s has also been suggested that the Divas match at WM28 should be a pre-show dark match which could feature Kharma versus Beth Phoenix. Where has the Divas Division gone wrong and is this just a romour?

Recently, WWE has not followed up on Kharma and appearance last month at the Royal Rumble because she hasn’t fully recovered from giving birth on December 31, 2011 and isn’t ready to work a full-time schedule. She competed in the Royal Rumble Match this year, scaring Michael Cole, eliminating Hunico and give Dolph Ziggler an Implant Buster because the WWE Creative felt it would create a good story since it wasn’t expected. If she doesn’t return now, will she back after WrestleMania or even show up at the huge event?

WWE’s blonde bombshell Kelly Kelly is waiting for her WrestleMania moment, stating “I’m praying that, in years to come, I will have that tag bout or singles match or whatnot, but I’m still waiting for that moment.” Will she get that highlight she really wants at WM28 which is located in her hometown.

WWE has a plan discussed to pair Eve Torres with a heel WWE Superstar to have them feud with Zack Ryder and another WWE Diva. No word yet on who’d could get paired with Ryder but Layla is a rumored name. I think this is clearly a good idea but Layla should make sure she’s 100% safe and medically-cleared to compete in her hometown of Miami. If this happens, I see Eve Torres finding an ally in U.S Champion Jack Swagger or Kane facing against Zack Ryder and possibly Kelly Kelly or Layla.

This week: TNA

Reigning Knockout’s Champion; Gail Kim will set to face her so-called “BFF” Madison Rayne at TNA’s Victory Road after Madison sneakily won a Battle Royal last week on Impact Wrestling for a title shot. What’s interesting about this match is that Gail Kim and Madison currently hold the Tag Team Championships together so I wonder what role both of these girls play as it is a long time seeing a “Heel Vs Heel Knockouts Match” in TNA history.

Sarita was ill during last week’s TNA live event tour of West Virginia but had the heart to not miss any matches while Brooke Tessmacher is scheduled to appear at Legends of the Ring 14, which takes place at June 2, 2012 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Monroe, New Jersey.

Mickie James will replace Malia Hosaka; a 25-year Veteran who recently retired from professional wrestling. TNA’s “Hardcore Country” Mickie James will now compete against Shimmer Champion; Cheerleader Melissa (who previously worked for TNA Impact as Raisha Saeed)

TNA Impact ratings have rapidly increased and sources reveal that this happened because of the incredibly-talented TNA Knockouts who put a good effort in their Battle Royal last week which saw Madison Rayne win a Knockouts Battle Royal! Well done girls!

Former TNA Knockout Champion and TNA’s Alumni; Taylor Wilde stated on Twitter that she is getting married to her boyfriend Oliver Mitchell today. Taylor holds the record of being the youngest TNA Knockouts Champion in history at age 22 and has retired at Feb 5, 2011. Her most notable fueds were with Awesome Kong (WWE’s Kharma) and Angelina Love. Congratulations to the young dynamic star who became the third Women’s Knockout’s Champion to date!

That’s all for now, thank you for reading and be sure to come back for another explosive weekly edition of Divas and Knockouts: Talk The Talk!

Divas and Knockouts: Talk The Talk!

Hiya folks,  my name is Stephanie (@StephMCK2): One of the newest writers here at therealwrestle – My job? I write down the SmackDown! review and the Divas and Knockouts Division. So, enough about me – welcome to my first ever weekly “Talk The Talk” edition of the WWE Divas and TNA Knockouts in therealwrestle. On a weekly basis, I will write down a number of news and rumours relating to the WWE Divas and Knockouts Division which also includes match predictions, character analysis, divas competing in pay-per-views and so much more! You may see a “beautiful” photo up here too. Never mind…

This week: WWE

Ding, Glam Slam, Ding! At WWE’s Elimination Chamber, the Fabulous Firebird Beth Phoenix who claims she will be “Divas Champion forever” challenged “Superfly” Tamina Snuka in WWE’s battlefield. The butterfly title has been up for grabs and Beth Phoenix declared to the WWE that she was “bored” of the lack of challenges she receives. But she spoke too soon after Tamina proved she was “the challenge” after all. Their match commenced and both of the Divas have done themselves proud by shining in their own right and utilising moves to steal the night, including a “Top Rope Suplex”, a “Superkick” and a “Somoan Drop”. In the end, it was Beth who triumphed  and retained her title after the match resulted in a “Glam Slam”. What’s next for the Glamazon? Perhaps Kharma or Natalya will be her ideal opponent for WrestleMania 28; the grandest stage of them all…

Natalya’s flatulence “fart” gimmick will continue and possibly become “permanent” due to their making her “over” with the WWE Universe. Former WWE Diva; Maria commented on Natalya’s new gimmick, claiming “How disrespectful can you be? She’s a Neidhart, come on! She’s incredible in the ring. It’s disrespectful to her, and I cannot even believe that they went there. I think it really says something to how WWE feels about their Women’s Division.”

WWE is currently planning an Eve “Heel Turn”. So far, we have seen Eve kiss John Cena and broke the heart of ex Zack Ryder. Her new storyline may continue on the next coming weeks.

WWE is pushing Tamina and her second name “Snuka” is part of that “push.”

Congratulations to Kelly Kelly for being nominated for the Nickolodeon’s Kids Choice Awards 2012 for the “Buttkicker” category. She has tough competition though as she is up against the likes of Taylor Lautner, Jessica Alba and Tom Cruise. Will she get slimed?

“Decade Diva” Trish Stratus will release her new Movie “Bounty Hunters” on DVD in the US and Canada at February 28, 2012.

This week: TNA

In a TNA Knockouts Battle Royal at Impact Wrestling, Madison Rayne stole a sneak victory after last eliminating “holler” Velvet Sky to be crowned the number 1 contender for the TNA Knockout’s Championship. The devious beauty will be set for championship gold again when she meets reigning champion Gail Kim for the title. Gail Kim has currently defeated Mickie James and Tara for the prestigious championship but will her plan foil and cause Rayne to win the title for the 3rd time? Only time will tell…

TNA Knockouts Brooke Tessmacher, Gail Kim and Winter and former WWE Superstars Billy Gunn and Chavo Guerrero are set to appear in a mixed martial arts themed independent film which will release in the summer 2013, according to SaintSinner Entertainment and Jaunted Productions.

Former TNA Knockout Chelsea returned at TNA iMPACT! She was featured on the arm of Eric Bischoff during his celebration segment. Chelsea last appeared as Desmond Wolfe’s valet.

Tara had reportedly suffered a knee injury at TNA’s live event after a match against Gail Kim. She was taken to the back with paramedics much similar to her match at Against All Odds 2012. Tara tweeted the following the show last night: “I’m so happy right now even with a bum knee. WPF for Life” – We hope she get’s a speeding recovery.

That’s all for now, thank you reading! Be back again for another explosive edition of “WWE Divas and TNA Knockouts: Talk The Talk!” 🙂

Wrestling News, Rumours and Headlines – Thursday Round-Up

Randy Orton Out Injured with Concussion (Rajah)

It was announced on WWE.Com this week that The Viper himself Randy Orton Himself would be out of the elimination Chamber this Sunday. I must admit I though this injury might have been a work but sadly it all look s legit that he’s out for Sunday. A real shame too along with Daniel Bryan I would say he is the only guy who realistically stood a chance of winning on Sunday.

WWE Announce Wrestlemaina 29 Plans (ProWrestling)

WWE Announced plans for Next Years Wrestlemania to be held in New Jersey for the first time Home of the Super bowl winning New York Giants and the New york Jets.

Funkasarus on a break (sescoops)

Sadly folks it looks as though the man from planet Funk Himself is having an enforced break after weeks and weeks of delays over his character re-debut he comes  back to a good pop but it seems as though wwe have  got  a Little lost on how to book him. I suppose they were running out of squash matches for him and were struggling to work out where to go next? shame like the character myself.

Eve Torres talks about the kiss (NoDq)

Looks like the wwe are really going to town on this one as an angle. My take is it’ll be less Cena now involved after this sunday and it’ll concentrate more on Ryder/Eve. Not sure which route they will go down yet on this one more thna likely with Kane Vs Ryder at Mania with Eve involved somehow.

The Rock to start another angle after Wrtestlemania (ProWrestling)

It’s looking likely that The Rock could very well be involved in another angle after wrestlemania . Am happy see more of him be interesting to see where they go with or who the next feud will be with. Maybe Punk at Summerslam gonna be interesting anyway.

The Miz and His Backstage Heat (SeScoops)

I wrote about in the Raw report earlier on in the week but It looks as though the Miz is drawing some heat backstage his star really has dropped I mean this was the guy who was in the main event last year at wrestlemania.

Kurt Angle says he is Unlikely to make The Olympics (Rajah)

Kurt ANgle has talked this week about his limited chances of making the olympics saying he’s got slim to no chance. I always thought it might be a push too far for Angle but wish him all the luck in the world going for it. still one of my all time favorite wrestlers too.

TNA and Vince Russo Part Company (sescoops)

This wasnt really a surprise really it’s been heading in this direction for months the product was looking stuck in the 90’s and mr Russo hasn’t seemed to realise that wrestling has moved on . As you would expect with TNA there was a lot backstage drama with this (more info here). I hope this now means that the whole Impact wrestling product will get a fresher look to it. I certainly hope so.

Jesse Sorensen Released from Hospital (pwinsider)

In whats bene reported on pwinsider that Jesse Sorensen has been released from hospital and is now at home. If this is true its amazing news as the injury was very serious so I will wait for confirmation of this before I start to really believe it.

TNA What happeend fater the PPV (NoDq)

A quick update on what happened after the last TNA ppv Against All Odd I actually thought it was quote  a good ppv didn’t like the finish to the world title match though.

well thats the headlines round-up for today folks hope you enjoyed thanks as ever for reading.
